Automation and Safety

Interdisciplinary master's programme in automation and control engineering focused on process monitoring, fault diagnosis, fault-tolerant systems, and the modelling and simulation of automated processes. It combines courses from electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, and natural sciences.

Overall grade of 3.0 or better.

English requirements

English at CEFR B2 on enrolment; UDE states proof can be provided via certificates such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Medium of Instruction.

German requirements

knowledge of German at level B2 (CEFR)

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree in the ISE programme or an equivalent degree from another German or foreign university; the programme builds on prior Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering knowledge.
