Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-03-24
These Terms explain the rules for using Think Mile. By creating an account, buying a service, or using our website or tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Scope of Services
Think Mile provides guidance, workflow support, and software tools for students. That may include:
- student counseling, planning, and application support
- document guidance and AI-assisted drafting tools
- application tracking, document storage, and profile-management features
- visa and relocation guidance where offered
Think Mile is not a university, embassy, visa authority, scholarship body, or regulator. We help you prepare and move faster, but final decisions are always made by third parties.
Your Responsibilities
- provide accurate, complete, and lawful information and documents
- review all AI-generated outputs before using or submitting them
- meet deadlines, payment obligations, and requests for supporting information
- avoid uploading forged, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content
You remain responsible for the final content of every application, essay, CV, LOR, or visa document submitted in your name.
AI-Assisted Features
Some features use AI to extract information from documents and generate drafts such as SOPs, CVs, LORs, and study plans. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or outdated assumptions. You must review and personalize outputs before using them. We may require a separate in-product consent step before data is processed through these workflows.
Intellectual Property
- Think Mile owns the website, software, brand assets, templates, and platform workflows.
- You keep ownership of the personal information and source materials you submit, subject to the limited rights needed for us to provide the service.
- Documents generated for your account using Think Mile tools belong to you for your own application and study-planning use.
- You give Think Mile a limited right to process submitted materials and generated outputs to deliver the service, keep required records, and improve the platform using anonymized or aggregated data.
Payments and Refunds
- third-party charges such as university fees, embassy or visa fees, courier costs, blocked-account costs, insurance charges, or language-test fees are never refunded by Think Mile
- service fees are generally non-refundable once work has started or deliverables have been provided
- Mentor Pack: full refund if requested within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked
- Premium Package: full refund if no admission is received
- if Think Mile sells a package with an express written refund guarantee, that package-specific promise controls for that package only
- visa refusals, university delays, or decisions by third parties do not by themselves create a refund right unless a written package promise says otherwise
If a package page or signed proposal includes a Premium no-admission guarantee or a similar written refund offer, the conditions on that specific page or proposal also apply.
Education Loan Assistance
- Think Mile is not a bank, NBFC, lender, or financial advisor and does not provide loans, credit, or financial advice. Our education loan service is documentation and process assistance only.
- All loan terms, interest rates, fees, eligibility, sanction, and disbursement are decided solely by the lender. We do not guarantee loan approval, any particular rate, or any sanction timeline.
- EMI, eligibility, and cost figures shown in our tools are indicative estimates, not loan offers; actual terms vary by lender and applicant profile.
- Any lender referral we make is a suggestion for your consideration. Where Think Mile receives a referral fee from a lender, it is disclosed and does not change the amount you pay the lender.
- The Education Loan Assistance advisory fee covers our guidance and coordination work. Third-party charges (lender processing fees, insurance, courier, valuation, etc.) are payable to those providers and are never refunded by Think Mile. The general refund terms above apply to the advisory fee.
Third-Party Services and Decisions
Universities, visa authorities, testing bodies, document evaluators, payment processors, and other service providers are independent third parties. Their timelines, eligibility rules, outages, and decisions are outside our control.
Disclaimers
- Think Mile provides guidance and assistance. Final admission and visa decisions are made by universities and authorities.
- We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, visa approval, job outcomes, or specific timelines.
- Services are provided on an as-available basis, and features may change as the product evolves.
Limitation of Liability
- Think Mile is not liable for application rejections, visa refusals, or delays caused by third parties.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, or data.
- Our total liability for a claim arising from a paid service will not exceed the fees you paid us for that specific service.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, non-payment, security risk, or material breach of these Terms. We may also remove content that appears unlawful, infringing, or unsafe.
Privacy
Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy. Where we ask for explicit consent for AI or cookie-related processing, that consent works alongside these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection rules in another jurisdiction apply and cannot be waived. If there is a dispute, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
