Computational Methods in Engineering (CoME)

A master's programme combining engineering and computer science with focus areas in simulation, optimization, and material analysis. It is aimed at solving technical problems through computational methods in engineering.

Minimum GPA

Average grade of at least 2.300 on the German grading scale.

English requirements

C1 English required. Official accepted proofs: TOEFL iBT 95-120, IELTS 7.0, CAE, or an equivalence test determined by the examination board of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Accepted bachelor fields

Relevant bachelor's degree with at least 180 CP plus subject-specific competence: at least 25 CP in mathematics and computer science including 15 CP mathematics and 5 CP computer science, and 40 CP in fundamentals of engineering sciences including 10 CP engineering mechanics and 5 CP in fluid mechanics or thermodynamics.
