European Master's in Embedded Intelligence Nanosystems Engineering (EMINENT)

Erasmus Mundus joint master's programme in embedded intelligence nanosystems engineering that combines functional nanomaterials, sensors, embedded systems, IoT, and edge-intelligence applications across multiple European partner universities.

Academic requirements

The BSc must be obtained from a nationally recognised university and be recognised by all partner institutions' national legislation. If proof of qualification (Bachelor’s degree) is unavailable at the time of application, students can be conditionally admitted. In such cases, they must submit an official statement from their university stating the expected graduation date and the outstanding courses in the application form. The final degree certificate and academic transcript must be submitted by 1 August of the respective year to complete the admission process. If the original document is not in English, an authorised translation must also be submitted.

Minimum GPA

At least 2.7 in the German grading system after conversion with the modified Bavarian formula.

English requirements

Upper B2 English validated by an approved test-centre certificate: TOEFL iBT 93, IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 6, PTE Academic 63, Cambridge English Qualifications 178, or Oxford Test of English Advanced 137. MOI certificates are not sufficient.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree with at least 180 ECTS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Computer Science, or an equivalent programme.
