Neuroscience

This two-year English-language master's programme offers flexible, research-oriented training across biology, psychology, medicine, physics, and engineering. Its core areas are sensory, behavioural, and computational neuroscience, with individually built study plans and early integration into active labs.

English requirements

Sufficient English at CEFR level B2 is required. Proof may be a first degree in an English-language programme or tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English, UNIcert, TOEIC, TELC, or a university language test. B2 proof must generally not be older than 2 years.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, Biology, or another related field of natural sciences and mathematics such as Psychology, Engineering, or Informatics. If the degree is not yet complete, at least 150 credit points must be documented. At least 12 credit points are required in Neurosciences and a further 12 credit points in Mathematics, Statistics, and/or Programming, with up to 6 credit points in one of these areas possible as catch-up courses during the first year.
