Molecular Cell Biology

The MSc Molecular Cell Biology gives students advanced training in molecular, cellular, biochemical, genetic, and computational approaches to biological and medical questions. It combines broad theoretical foundations with practical laboratory and project experience across biology, medicine, and agriculture.

Minimum GPA

At least 2.7 in the German grading system or a local equivalent.

English requirements

English at CEFR B2. The official application page gives examples of IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a university degree in life sciences or a related field. The official programme page also requires practical knowledge worth 5 ECTS each in biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, and cell biology, for a total of 20 ECTS or equivalent proof.
