Integrated Urban Development and Design (IUDD)

This English-language master's offers practice-oriented and interdisciplinary study in sustainable urban development and global transformation processes. The programme combines integrated urban development with urban design through the study paths Reflective Urban Practice and International Academic Mobility.

Minimum GPA

Equivalent to a final overall grade between 1.0 and 2.5 on the German grading scale.

English requirements

The official regulations require English at CEFR B2 or higher. Accepted proof includes IELTS 6.0 or better, TOEFL iBT 80 or better, Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) Grade C, or an equivalent certificate.

Accepted bachelor fields

The official regulations state that relevant first degrees are primarily architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban and regional planning, or comparable space-oriented sciences. The official application page also accepts disciplines related to the built environment.
