Programme Overview

TUM Asia master's programme designed to prepare students for future transport and rail-planning challenges through two specialisations, Rail and Transport, with a strong focus on sustainable mobility systems.

Admission Requirements

Academic requirements: Bachelor’s degree completed in at least three years.
Minimum GPA: No fixed minimum GPA is published.
English requirements: TOEFL iBT at least 88 or IELTS overall at least 6.5, taken no more than two years before submission.
Accepted bachelor fields: A bachelor's degree in civil, communications, electrical, environmental, mechanical, or transportation engineering, geodetics, geography, computer science, economics, mathematics, physical sciences, architecture, or a closely related discipline.
APS Certificate: Yes for applicants who hold a degree from China, India, or Vietnam.
Thesis required: Yes
Mandatory internship: Yes

Tuition fee: 35,970 SGD total tuition fee after GST, based on the TUM Asia fee schedule published in April 2025.
Semester contribution: 97.00 EUR student union fee for TUM Asia as of Summer Semester 2026, plus a 109 SGD application processing fee.
