Environmental Sustainability

An interdisciplinary three-semester Master of Science programme taught in English at Bingen University of Applied Sciences (founded Germany's first environmental protection programme in 1974). Students from diverse Bachelor's backgrounds collaborate on international projects covering renewable materials, climate change, environmental management, ecological systems, and sustainability.

Overall Bachelor's grade better than 2.5 (German grading system)

English requirements

Certified B2 or higher English skills; IELTS score of 5.5 or above or CEFR B2 or better

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's graduates from engineering, natural sciences, business, or law. Must demonstrate knowledge in at least 3 of the following 5 areas (minimum 8 ECTS each): Mathematics; Physics and/or Engineering Mechanics; Chemistry; Biology or Ecology; Economics. BSc with 180 ECTS and sufficient relevant practical experience, or 210 ECTS.
