Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA)

This accredited two-year, design-based master's programme combines theoretical and practical training in an interdisciplinary and intercultural landscape architecture framework. It is aimed at students seeking professional leadership development and problem-oriented, sustainable solutions to landscape architectural challenges.

Academic requirements

Aptitude test considering final grade and quality of design portfolio. Portfolio must include five works, with two based on occupational experience if applicable. MLA offers online courses to get necessary credits if applicants lack required knowledge.

English requirements

If the first degree was not taught in English, accepted proof includes TOEFL at least 563 paper-based or 85 iBT, IELTS overall 6.5, or equivalent proof; a certificate confirming English-medium instruction is also accepted.

Accepted bachelor fields

A qualified diploma, bachelor's, or master's degree in landscape architecture, architecture, or a similar programme with a standard period of study of at least three years is required. The official application page also requires at least one year of related work experience and a portfolio of five landscape architecture design projects including at least two professional works.
