Master's Degree Programme in Architectural and Cultural Heritage (MAC)

This master's programme focuses on preservation, conservation, and rehabilitation of architectural heritage through a combination of theory, design, and research. It is closely connected to UNESCO World Heritage sites and preservation institutions in Saxony-Anhalt.

English requirements

Accepted proof includes TOEFL 605 paper-based or 88 iBT, IELTS minimum 6.5, Cambridge Main Suite of English Examination, or equivalent proof. Applicants who completed their last qualification in English can submit university-issued proof instead.

German requirements

Knowledge of German is not required, but German will be offered as an elective course for interested students

Accepted bachelor fields

A qualified university degree in a relevant field such as architecture, archaeology, history of art, civil engineering, geography, facility management, interior design, surveying technology, or a similar field with at least 180 ECTS and a regular study time of at least 3 years is required. The official overview page also states that at least one year of relevant qualified professional experience after graduation is required.
