Master's Degree in Multilingualism

The master's programme studies multilingualism through linguistics and related disciplines in an international and research-oriented setting. It focuses on how multiple languages are acquired, processed and used in diverse social contexts.

Minimum GPA

Final grade of at least 2.7 on the German grading scale.

English requirements

Advanced English at CEFR C1 is required. Applicants with a bachelor's or master's degree taught in English or who attended an English-language secondary school do not have to provide separate English proof.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree in linguistics or a related subject. Applicants should have prior knowledge in core areas such as phonology, phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics.
