Research-oriented biology master's with seven specialization areas including biochemistry/cell biology, genetics/biostatistics, medical biology, microbiology, ecology/environmental management, plant sciences, and animal sciences.

Minimum GPA

No fixed minimum GPA is published; admission is based on aptitude assessment and, for some applicants, the TUM-Test.

English requirements

The programme can be studied in German or English. Applicants who cannot rely on prior English- or German-medium education must submit English proof such as TOEFL iBT 88, IELTS Academic 6.5, Cambridge Main Suite, or German proof such as DSH II or comparable.
