Double Degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering

This German-French double-degree route combines chemistry and chemical engineering study between the University of Wurzburg and CPE Lyon. The official curriculum page shows study phases in Lyon followed by advanced chemistry study and the master's thesis in Wurzburg.

Grade 3.0 or better.

English requirements

The official chemistry master's admission page requires English at CEFR B2. Accepted proof includes TOEFL iBT 72, IELTS 6.0, Cambridge First Certificate in English, an equivalent school-leaving qualification, or prior study completed with English at the required level.

German requirements

Students from Lyon who want to spend the last semesters of the Master's programme in Würzburg will need to provide proof of knowledge of the German language at a B2 level.

Accepted bachelor fields

The official chemistry master's admission page requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree with grade 3.0 or better and at least 25 ECTS each in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical/theoretical chemistry, with at least 25 ECTS of those competencies from laboratory practicals or equivalent scope.
