International Study Programme 2026

The intensive, interdisciplinary International Study Programme explores the topic of “Sustainability and Innovation in Engineering and Environmental Planning”. The programme consists of three parts: Course 1 surveys recent technological developments, Course 2 covers methods of innovation, and Course 3 “Living Society” aims to deepen students’ understanding of Germany’s current trends in innovation and sustainability by examining their historical, cultural and ecological context.

Not applicable for non-degree programmes.

English requirements

Proof of ability to study in English must be submitted by all those students whose mother tongue is not English and who do not study in an English taught programme at their home university. Required: At least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL – at least 87 points), Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC – at least 750 points), Cambridge Proficiency (CPE – minimum grade: C), Cambridge Advanced (CAE – minimum grade: C).
