Archaeology of the Ancient World (MAAW)

Interdisciplinary, English-taught archaeology master's programme that combines prehistoric, Near Eastern, and classical archaeology to study the Mediterranean region, Eurasia, and southwest Asia through theory, artefacts, and data analysis.

Applicants who did not complete their previous degree in English must prove English at C1 CEFR or equivalent.

Accepted bachelor fields

Requires a bachelor's degree of at least 180 ECTS with at least 60 ECTS in archaeology-related coursework; relevant prior study can include archaeology or closely related fields such as history, cultural anthropology, art history, or historical geography with a strong archaeological focus.
