Programme Overview

Research-oriented Master of Arts in Political Science taught entirely in English, emphasising quantitative methods and empirical research training and preparing students for doctoral studies. Starts in the winter semester only.

Admission Requirements

Minimum GPA: Bachelor's degree completed with a grade of 'good' (2.5 on the German scale) or better.
English requirements: TOEFL iBT 90 or TOEFL paper-based 577, or IELTS 6.5; alternatively a degree with at least 90 ECTS taught in English.
Accepted bachelor fields: Bachelor's degree in Political Science or a subject-related field, including at least one course in statistical analysis and/or research methods passed with grade 2.5 or better.
