International Social Work with Refugees and Migrants

An application-oriented English-taught master's programme focused on social work with refugees and migrants in national, European, and international contexts. It develops intercultural, legal, educational, and psychological competences for solution-oriented practice and policy work.

Minimum GPA

Final grade of 2.5 or better on the German grading scale.

English requirements

English language proficiency at level B2.

German requirements

A2 recommended, must be proven within 12 months after start

Accepted bachelor fields

A bachelor's degree or German Diplom degree with a final grade of 2.5 or better and at least 210 ECTS in a social-work-related degree programme or another German or foreign higher education degree considered equal. Applicants with 180 ECTS can make up the missing 30 ECTS.
