BAGSS (Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences) is a structured doctoral school at the University of Bamberg uniting two faculties to conduct research on major societal challenges. Four thematic pillars organise the work: education and learning across life stages; educational and social inequality; human capital and labour market changes; and governance and political behaviour. Research combines sociology, psychology, educational science, political science, economics, demography, and statistics. The programme is designed to be completed in three years.
