Biomedical Sciences (MSc)

The programme takes a practical approach to the key areas of modern biomedicine, with all courses taught in English. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers at both national and international companies as well as public institutions focused on biology and biomedicine. The programme also provides an excellent foundation for those interested in pursuing an academic path.

Academic requirements

Deadline: For applicants with a visa requirement: Applications are possible from 15 February to 31 March via uni-assist. For Germans and applicants without a visa requirement: Applications are possible from 15 February to 15 July via the Apollo application portal.

English requirements

A very good command of English is necessary in order to follow the Master's programme. Sufficient skills in English will have to be proven by a TOEFL test. For international applicants: TOEFL iBT minimum score of 79 and IELTS minimum overall band score of 6.0. The original TOEFL score report has to be sent by ETS; our institution code is 7977. Knowledge of German is NOT required, but some basic language skills will be helpful for daily life. The university language centre offers special introductory German language courses for international students.
