Visual Computing (MSc)

This master's focuses on computer vision, computer graphics, image processing, machine learning, and related visual-computing methods. It prepares students for research and development work in areas where automated visual analysis and interactive visual systems are central.

Minimum GPA

The current official SIC application guide states a minimal application prerequisite of 75% cumulative undergraduate grade or 3.00 GPA on a 4.0 scale and ranking in the top 10% of the graduating class.

English requirements

The official SIC application guide requires advanced English at C1. Accepted certificates listed by SIC are IELTS Academic 7.0, TOEFL iBT 95, TOEFL paper-based 600, Cambridge C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, or PTE Academic 76.

Accepted bachelor fields

The current official SIC application guide requires a bachelor's degree from a German university or an equivalent foreign qualification in visual computing, computer visualization, or a related field, particularly computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or mechatronics.
