Programme Overview

This interdisciplinary English-language MSc in linguistics combines formal models of grammar with empirical methods such as psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, and fieldwork. Students deepen both theoretical and experimental skills and develop their own research questions in current linguistics.

Admission Requirements

Minimum GPA: None stated.
English requirements: English language skills at least at C1 level (CEFR). German is not required.
Accepted bachelor fields: Applicants need a first degree in linguistics, general or theoretical linguistics, clinical linguistics or patholinguistics, computational linguistics, or linguistics of an individual language. If the degree is in another subject, it must include at least 90 CP or 50% of the programme in linguistics.
