Programme Overview

This interdisciplinary MSc combines engineering methods with basic physics for work in optical technologies, photonics, and laser applications. It is taught jointly by the faculties of mechanical engineering and mathematics/physics and is closely linked to Hannover's photonics research network.

For the English track, the official programme pages require English at C1 level. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering states that international applicants to English-taught tracks must provide C1 English proof instead of German proof.
