Chemistry

Research-oriented MSc in Chemistry that builds on a chemistry bachelor's degree and deepens theoretical and experimental training through specialised modules and research areas across modern chemistry.

Academic requirements

Transcript of records; Tabular résumé; Two professional references (name of two scientists or former employers) are needed. Formal reference letters are not required.

Minimum GPA

Grade 2.5 or better according to ECTS / the German grading scale.

English requirements

English proficiency at B2 CEFR. The DAAD entry lists TOEFL 533 paper / 200 computer / 72 internet, CAE level C, IELTS 6, or equivalent; the official chemistry application guide states TOEFL/IELTS evidence is required and a prior English-medium degree alone is not sufficient.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or an equivalent degree in chemistry.
