Computer Science

A three-semester, full-time Master of Science programme taught entirely in English at Bingen University of Applied Sciences. It covers architecture of information systems, artificial intelligence, advanced database systems, and a broad range of electives in software engineering, data science, and IT strategy, concluding with a Master's thesis.

Academic requirements

Eligibility under Section 65 of the German Higher Education Act (entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences, a general higher education entrance qualification, or equivalent)

Minimum GPA

Final grade of ECTS Grade B or better, or alternatively a grade point average of 2.5 or better (German grading system)

English requirements

English B2 certificate required. Accepted: TOEFL iBT minimum 72 points; TOEIC minimum 785 points; IELTS minimum 5.5. No other certificates accepted.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree or Diplom in Computer Science or a closely related field; must include Software Engineering (extensive programming skills, software planning and quality assurance), Technologies of Computer Science (databases, operating systems, computer architectures), and Theoretical Computer Science
