Abbe School of Photonics – PhD/Doctoral Programme

This research-oriented doctoral programme offers advanced work in optics, photonics, and quantum technologies within a highly international scientific environment. Doctoral candidates work on frontier research topics with intensive mentoring, specialised skills modules, and access to world-class optics and photonics laboratories.

Academic requirements

Applicants must have obtained or be about to obtain a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in physics, optics, engineering, or a related field.
