Good knowledge of English is required. If English is not the native language, proof can be provided by a Cambridge English certificate, IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, TOEFL PBT, CEFR certificate, UNIcert certificate, or a university degree where the language of instruction was English; applicants with at least two years of work or study experience in an English-speaking country within the past three years are also exempt from further proof.

Accepted bachelor fields

Master's degree or equivalent in physics, chemistry, geosciences, or a related field. The official application FAQ states that the degree should include a written master's thesis or an equivalent major written report.
