Photonics

The four-semester Master's programme in Photonics provides in-depth knowledge and skills in photonics and related fields. Photonics is an interdisciplinary field that utilises light in science and technology, with a focus on photons. Applications include information and communication technology, laser material processing, medical technology, semiconductor industry, life sciences, measurement and sensor technology, quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, aerospace, automotive industry, mechanical and equipment engineering, and lighting and display systems.

English requirements

Proof of English language skills at level C1 (CEFR) via TOEFL, IELTS, LCCI, etc., or graduation from a Bachelor's degree programme fully taught in English.

Physical Technologies/Energy Systems, Biosystems Engineering/Bioinformatics, Automation Technology at TH Wildau; Optometry/Optical Device Technology at TH Brandenburg; Laser Science and Photonics at BHT Berlin. Bachelor's degree in related subjects also welcome.
