Cross-disciplinary master's programme combining humanities and social sciences in a European context, with flexible specialisation across fields such as history, media studies, sociology, politics, geography, philosophy, and languages.

Academic requirements

first university degree earned after a standard period of three years' full-time study

Minimum GPA

German grade 2.5 or better, or ranking among the best 50% of the cohort.

English requirements

Applicants need C1 CEFR in at least one of the following languages: Czech, English, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish. German level C1 is also required.

German requirements

Intermediate knowledge of German at level C1 CEFR or higher, evidenced by DSH-2 or TestDaF TDN4×4 certificate (or equivalent)

Accepted bachelor fields

Requires a good first degree in a humanities or social-science subject.
