Data Science

This interdisciplinary master's programme combines data analysis and systems engineering with core areas from computer science, mathematics, and statistics. Students can deepen their studies through application fields such as business analytics, computational life science, or physics.

English requirements

The official RWTH language-requirements document lists Data Science under English language requirements. Accepted proof includes TOEFL iBT at least 90, IELTS at least 6.0, Cambridge B2 First with grade B, Cambridge C1 Advanced, Cambridge C2 Proficiency, PTE Academic at least 60, UNIcert II or higher, a school certificate showing CEFR B2 English, or an RWTH Language Center placement test at level B2.2.1 or higher.
