Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence

This international master's programme prepares students to develop, implement, and test human-centred AI solutions. It combines computer science, data science, human-computer interaction, and psychology, with all courses taught in English.

Academic requirements

If you have not completed your undergraduate degree in a signatory country of the Lisbon Recognition Convention, you must also prove your academic knowledge by passing the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test.

Minimum GPA

provisional or final overall grade of at least 2.5

English requirements

English at CEFR level B2 is required. Proof must be provided by an official language test; a final thesis written in English also counts as proof. If the degree programme was taught in English but the thesis was not written in English, a language certificate is still required. Only native speakers of English are exempt.

German requirements

No knowledge of German is required, but it is recommended that students acquire knowledge of German during their studies.

Accepted bachelor fields

Admission requires proven knowledge and skills worth 54 ECTS in the following areas: empirical research methods and statistics (12 ECTS), natural language processing and/or information retrieval (18 ECTS), programming (12 ECTS), and further courses from information science, data science, mathematics, computer science, and their application areas (12 ECTS).
