International PhD Programme in Molecular Medicine (IGradU)

Based on a biomedical Master's course of study, the aim is to train graduates to independently carry out scientific research in the field of molecular medicine. Core elements are a biomedical PhD thesis (three years) and general theoretical and practical training courses in life sciences, plus key competence seminars, retreats, symposia, and excursions.

Deadline: Summer semester: December to mid-January (six weeks) Winter semester: June to July (four weeks)

Minimum GPA

Final grade of 2.0 or better (according to the German grading system)

English requirements

As teaching is in English, very good knowledge of the English language is required. Applicants have to demonstrate their English language skills during a public presentation (Selection Day).

Accepted bachelor fields

Four-year Bachelor's degree, Master of Science degree, German Diploma, or equivalent degree in life sciences, physics, chemistry, informatics, or a related field
