Data Science

The Data Science Master's programme prepares students to start a career as a data scientist. The practice-oriented studies focus on data engineering and data analysis using frameworks like Python and R. The programme is offered in 90 ECTS (3 semesters) and 120 ECTS (4 semesters) options. The 120 ECTS option includes a semester abroad or a research project, computer science courses, and electives.

English requirements

Qualified English-language skills must be proven by a TOEFL test (computer-based at least 213 points, paper-based at least 550 points, Internet-based at least 85 points) or, alternatively, an IELTS test with a score of 6.5 or higher. An A2 level of German must be evidenced by a Goethe-Zertifikat A2, telc-Zertifikat A2, ÖSD-Zertifikat A2, or ECL-Zertfifikat A2. Alternatively, the language certificates DSH1 or TestDaF with at least TDN3 are also accepted.
