German-French Studies

The binational German-French Studies BA is offered jointly by the University of Bonn and Sorbonne Universite and combines German and French philology with intercultural and comparative study. It includes a compulsory study period at the partner university and a mandatory internship in the partner country.

Academic requirements

German higher education entrance qualification ("Abitur") or equivalent is required. Admission to the programme in Bonn is regulated by an aptitude test. The written test takes 90 minutes, and the oral examination takes 15 minutes. In the event that the applicant does not pass this test, the test may be repeated once.
