MSc Computational and Applied Mathematics (CAM)

A master's programme in computational and applied mathematics that combines mathematical theory with modern computational methods and applications. It prepares students to model, analyse, and solve complex problems arising in science, engineering, and industry.

Academic requirements

Qualification or aptitude for the Master's degree programme is examined in the qualification assessment process. Applicants with a degree that is not in mathematics but in a related field can only be admitted after passing an oral exam.

Minimum GPA

Minimum final grade of 2.5 on the German grading scale.

English requirements

English level B2.

German requirements

German Level A1 CEFR (breakthrough or beginner), to be proven no later than one year into the programme.

Accepted bachelor fields

A first degree in mathematics or a closely related field suitable for the qualification assessment process.
