Joint European Master's in Interdisciplinary Mathematics

Two-year Erasmus Mundus joint master's in mathematical modelling and simulation with interdisciplinary applications, especially in biomedical sciences and industrial engineering, delivered across partner universities in several European countries.

Academic requirements

Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (at the equivalent of First Class Honours level)

Minimum GPA

No fixed GPA is published on the consortium site; selection is based on academic record. DAAD describes the expected level as First Class Honours-equivalent.

English requirements

Minimum CEFR B2. Accepted proofs include IELTS Academic 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80, PTE Academic 56, Cambridge C1 Advanced 169, or equivalent; applicants with prior studies taught in English may document English-medium instruction instead.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a similar field with a very strong mathematical background.

Equivalent to 4,500 EUR per semester based on 18,000 EUR participation costs over 4 semesters; fully waived for EMJM scholarship holders.
