Geobiology and Palaeobiology

Research-oriented interdisciplinary master's programme in geobiology and palaeobiology at LMU's Faculty of Geosciences, designed to introduce students to key Earth- and life-science interfaces and to enable early independent research.

English requirements

English at C1 CEFR is required. Examples listed by the programme include TOEFL iBT at least 95, IELTS at least 7.0, Cambridge CAE grade A or B, or a prior degree taught in English in a relevant field.

German requirements

Basic German language proficiency (A1) needs to be proven at latest one year after starting in the programme.

Requires a previous degree in geology, biology, physical geography, or a closely related subject.
