Programme Overview

This research-oriented MSc combines computer science and electrical engineering at the hardware-software interface. Students specialise in areas such as embedded systems, nano/microelectronics, computer systems, communication and networks, signal processing, or control and automation, and complete a year-long research project plus thesis.

Admission Requirements

Academic requirements: Applicants need to provide a GRE test with a score of at least 157 points in "Quantitative Reasoning" and at least 3.0 in "Analytical Writing". A GRE test is not required if applicants can submit a very good CGPA.
Minimum GPA: No fixed minimum grade is stated on the programme page; applicants with a very good CGPA may be exempt from the GRE requirement.
English requirements: English at B2 CEFR level. Accepted proof includes TOEFL iBT 80, TOEFL paper-based 550, Cambridge CAE grade B, Duolingo 105, IELTS 6.5, or equivalent.
Accepted bachelor fields: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related subject with a solid background in both electrical engineering and computer science. The prior degree should include at least 30 credits in computer science, 30 credits in electrical engineering, 15 credits in mathematics, and a thesis worth at least 12 credits.
