Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)

This English-language master's focuses on theoretical and practical computer science issues in interface design and interactive system development. The programme combines advanced technical HCI study with project-based research and interdisciplinary electives.

The official application page requires English at CEFR B2. Accepted proof includes a bachelor's degree from a native English-speaking country, TOEFL iBT 85 or higher, TOEFL CBT 213 or higher, IELTS 6.5 overall with at most one component at 6.0 and none at 5.5, Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE), or Pearson PTE Academic with at least 59 points.

German requirements

To register for Master's thesis, proof of German A1 required.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a Bachelor of Science in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related technical-scientific field with sufficient computer science and HCI coursework.
