International Business

This six-semester bachelor's programme delivers a future-oriented business education with an international focus and a compulsory internship. The English-taught branch combines business studies with German language learning and intercultural preparation for global business careers.

Academic requirements

To study in a Bachelor's degree programme at Anhalt University, you will need a university entrance qualification (HZB). Typically, this is the equivalent of a German Abitur (e.g. high school diploma or A-levels) or a subject-specific qualification. However, there are also other qualifications that permit you to study. If your HZB is restricted to a specific German state (note in your transcript), then it might also be recognised in Saxony-Anhalt. Applicants have to attend an online interview with the programme director as part of the selection process. After successful participation, the applicants will be admitted to the Bachelor's degree programme in international business.

For the English-taught programme, accepted proof includes TOEFL minimum 88 iBT or 605 paper-based, Cambridge CPE grades A/B/C, Cambridge CAE grades A/B/C, or IELTS minimum 6.5.

German requirements

No German language skills are required.

University entrance qualification (Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or an equivalent recognized qualification) is required; recognized professional qualifications can also qualify for admission.
