Preparatory Semester: get staRTed at Reutlingen University

The preparatory semester get staRTed at Reutlingen University is offered for study applicants with a recognised university entrance qualification, who need to improve their German and pass the language exam for university admission. It prepares you optimally for your studies in Germany with intensive German courses, study orientation, preparation for university, and a leisure and excursion programme.

Not applicable for non-degree programmes.

English requirements

Programme taught in German; no English language test required. German proficiency at level B1 or B2 required for admission. The programme includes 20 hours of German lessons per week and prepares students for the TestDaF or DSH exam.

German requirements

Proof of German language skills at level B1 or B2; Should your proof of German language proficiency not be conclusive, we may ask you to take a placement test to assess your language level.
