Cancer and Immunity, Master of Science

This international research-oriented master's programme focuses on cancer research and immunology. Students gain current research knowledge and complete two six-month internships in different research laboratories.

Academic requirements

Essay (max 1500 words) on a given topic, to be published two months before application deadline.

Minimum GPA

final grade of at least 2.0

English requirements

English at CEFR level B2 is required. Equivalent proof can include TOEFL with 80 points or a first degree in an English-language programme.

German requirements

Proof of knowledge of the German language is not necessary. There will be a course in the first semester to learn German at level A1.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a university degree such as a Bachelor of Science in natural or life sciences with a recognizable focus on immunology and the basics of cell biology, biochemistry, and biology. The transcript should include immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, more basic natural sciences such as biology, physics, or mathematics, and at least a three-month scientific laboratory internship.
