Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics

The Master's programme in Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics is research-based, and it makes use of the unique capabilities available in these fields at KIT. The two-year programme includes common basis courses, a selection of one out of six profiles, lab rotations in the third semester, and a six-month MSc thesis in the fourth semester. The programme language is English.

TOEFL iBT with a score of at least 92, IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 and no section below 5.5, or an equivalent certificate; CPE or CAE or Unicert II. Exemptions for applicants from certain countries or with English-taught degrees in EU/EEA/Switzerland.

Accepted bachelor fields

geo-related completed Bachelor's degree or at least equivalent degree from a programme with a duration of at least three years, based on a minimum of 180 ECTS credit points in the fields of physical-natural sciences, engineering-information technology and especially geodesy or geoinformatics-affine or geoscientific fields
