German as a Second Language / German as a Foreign Language (DaZ/DaF)

The Master's degree programme has an interdisciplinary focus with linguistic, linguistic-didactic and intercultural topics. The intercultural perspective is applied to both foreign and second language acquisition. Graduates are authorised to teach both integration courses and, as a special feature of this degree programme, literacy courses run by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).
