Information Engineering

Interdisciplinary master's programme at TUM Campus Heilbronn that trains students to design cyber-physical business systems from sensors and data pipelines through to IT systems and business models.

Academic requirements

Abitur (university entrance qualification) or equivalent; Successful completion of the assessment procedure; Assessment based on university entrance qualification grade and best individual grades from up to four semesters plus the "Abitur" examination (if applicable) in English, mathematics, and an advanced natural science. Applicants who cannot be directly admitted based on their grades may be invited to an interview (in English).

No fixed minimum GPA is published; admission is based on the aptitude assessment.

English requirements

Proof of English language proficiency must be submitted with the application according to TUM-recognized proofs.

German requirements

German language certificate A2 (at least level A2)

A bachelor's degree in Information Engineering, Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field is expected.
