Academic requirements

Academic admission requirements include a Master of Science with a thesis. In exceptional cases, an outstanding Bachelor's degree may be accepted. In the case of the Master of Science without a thesis, there may be an option to write a thesis with the supervisor in Bonn.

Evidence of English proficiency roughly at TOEFL 550 paper-based or 80 internet-based level, or comparable prior instruction in English.

German requirements

Members of BIGS are expected to learn some German.
