Renewable Energy Management (Master of Science)

This English-taught master's addresses renewable energy management with a holistic focus on Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It combines technical, economic, environmental, and project-management perspectives for global energy transitions.

Academic requirements

Letter of motivation (one page in English), Curriculum vitae (in tabular form), Scientific project / research proposal for the Master's thesis (two pages in English), Certified copies of academic certificates: certified copy of school leaving certificate, all university end-of-year exam certificates (with individual grades), university diploma or degree certificate indicating the final grade(s).

Minimum GPA

At least satisfactory (3.0) in the German grading system.

English requirements

Applicants must prove very good English by IELTS Academic or IELTS Online overall 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each section, TOEFL iBT 79 for tests taken before January 21, 2026, TOEFL iBT 4.0 with no part below 3.5 for tests taken from January 21, 2026, or Cambridge ESOL FCE. Native English speakers must prove English was the language of instruction during school and university education.
