English-taught M.Sc. with majors in Earth and Planetary Sciences or Environmental Earth Sciences, combining field-based and analytical methods, data handling, and independent scientific work on Earth-system questions.

Accepted bachelor fields

The reviewed current DAAD record states that applicants need a first degree of at least three years with an average grade of at least 2.7 from a geoscientific or environmental bachelor's programme, or an equivalent degree programme at a German or foreign university. It also states that applicants must prove at least 40 ECTS across at least three of the subjects mathematics, physics, chemistry, and geosciences.
