Robot Operating Systems Essentials | Summer School

This two-week RWTH Summer School takes participants from delta-robot construction basics to advanced control using Arduino and the Robot Operating System. The course is project-based and culminates in a live robot demonstration.

Academic requirements

at least 18 years old, enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme, transitioning between these programmes, or have recently graduated

Minimum GPA

Not applicable for non-degree programmes.

Accepted bachelor fields

The official page states participants must be at least 18 years old and be in a bachelor's or master's programme, in between studies, or recently graduated. It adds that related study degrees are beneficial and that basic knowledge in technical mechanics, automation technology, robotics, mechatronics, or computer science is desirable, along with programming skills in C++ and/or Java or an interest in logic-based programming; Linux skills are beneficial.
