Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics (MSc)

International Master's programme with no compulsory modules, only elective modules. Students choose 60 ECTS from a menu of English-taught and German-taught modules. Programme can be application-oriented or research-oriented. Majority of modules offered in English, some in German.

German requirements

If courses in German are selected and German is not the native language, applicants must have linguistic proficiency in accordance with at least level C1 of CEFR, TestDaF 4, DSH 2 or equivalent. A proof thereof is mandatory (certificate not older than 24 months). All applicants whose mother tongue is not German must provide proof of German proficiency at level A2 of CEFR or higher (i.e. Goethe certificate or equivalent, certificate not older than 24 months). This also applies if only English-taught modules are chosen.
